“Breakdowns, bad luck and mishaps” – the test
There were several punctures on the trailer on the way from Germany to Portugal, followed by an engine failure on the Fiesta Rally3 Evo during the test drives. The start to the new terrain was anything but smooth. However, the tireless and self-sacrificing commitment of PSH Motorsport and Nico Lesch made it possible to continue participating in the tests and the rally despite all the adversities.
Every day is a school day – the rally
The rally itself was just as challenging as the journey there. Changing weather conditions and demanding sections of the route demanded full concentration and maximum adaptability. Despite some technical setbacks and cold deformations on the vehicle, the team successfully completed the rally and gained important insights.
The result was a respectable fourth place in the RC3 category and 15th place overall out of 64 participants – a solid result and valuable experience on gravel. The impressions gained form an important basis for the upcoming WRC highlight in Portugal from May 15 to 18.
