Mark your calendars, get your remote ready: Claire Schönborn can be seen on Sky Sport News on March 8, 2026 – and for the most fitting occasion. On February 25, a camera team from the broadcaster was already at Claire’s home to film a report on International Women’s Day. Starting at 9 a.m., the report will run under the motto “International Women’s Day – #GiveToGain” and shed light on Claire’s path in motorsport: from her first steps on the scene to her 2025 rally season. In addition to Claire, several women from different areas have their say in the report – a polyphonic portrait of strong personalities that shows how diverse success in sport can be.
But that’s not all: just a few days earlier, on March 5, Claire was one of four invited guests at the “CareerShift Online Session” of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) Women In Motorsport Commission. The format is aimed specifically at young girls and women who are looking to get into motorsport or are simply interested in the world behind the barriers. Claire shared her personal experiences and impressions – authentic, first-hand and with the aim of inspiring the next generation of female motorsport enthusiasts and freelancers.
A great honor, no question – but also one that Claire carries with her own down-to-earth attitude. Anyone who knows her story knows that she doesn’t just talk about successes, but also about the long road to get there. This is exactly what makes her the ideal ambassador for initiatives like this one. So: Sunday, March 8, Sky Sport News, from 9 a.m. – it’s worth tuning in.
